Each of the training sessions will be 2 days they will be Saturday and Sunday events.  There is camping at these areas but there are no facilities.   Also we can always use help during the training sessions planting birds and gunners.  A hunter safety video will be available for 1st time Gunners at the training sessions.  You must watch this video and sign the roster to be able to gun at the Training sessions.  We also need people to transport the birds if you are willing to do this please let us know when you contact us for your bird order.  Please see below for the dates and we hope to see a lot of you there.  If you have any questions, call or email Pam Edwards l.weiss@cox.net  602-808-9216.

Many opportunities are available for members of the Rio Salado Vizsla Club to volunteer to help with our many events.

  • Social Events: General Membership Meetings which include the December  Holiday Party, October Photo Judging party and Pizza Party, and the April Awards Banquet.
  • Assisting with the Photo Contest Calendars – sales/ mailing
  • Hunt Training – prior to the upcoming Hunt Tests.
  • Hunt Tests – next one is in August and then another  in November
